It got up to 35 or 36 here a couple weeks ago and my puny 12000 BTU portable AC could barely keep up. It ran for the entire day and only kept it down to 29 in here. Sleeping in a puddle of your own sweat is not all that fun. Thankfully we only get 5 or 6 of those days a year, and usually not in a row, because my condo building is a big heat sink - just when you think it should be getting cooler because the sun went down, the heat starts seeping out of the concrete and you're still roasting.

high here in Arizona is only supposed to be 97F (36C) which is about 10 degrees less than normal. We're having our "monsoon" season, which is usually just a lot of dust, some thunder/ lightening and just enough rain to dirty your car.

90 degrees here. Supposed to get magnum hot in the next few days.
I had a good sized pile of stuff I need to haul off. I went ahead & loaded it in the trailer yesterday evening so I wouldnt have to do it this coming weekend.
I did get a bit lazy. Instead of raking up the area where it was at....I started the mower up & mowed over it, going in one direction & blew all the leaves & twigs into the woods . 5 minutes with mower > 30 minutes with a rake
