Star Firearms .45, bought it in the early 90's.

followed up with a Beretta M9 for the wife a few years later.

feels like a toy compared to the Star.

When I was early teenager, my parents gave my brother and I a pump action BB gun. By pump action, I mean you worked the lever back and forth until you couldn't make it pump anymore. That fucker had a much higher compression than those CO2 cartridges. Most likely it was a Daisy.

So anyway, I thought I was cool and saw a bird (probably a robin) up in a tree in my next door neighbors yard. (BTW, we're talking well within the Atlanta city limits) I took aim, fired, and he fell from the tree. I ran over to see my kill. I had blown half his head off and I got there just in time to see him take his last few deep breaths. It was traumatic for me and I never went hunting again.

On the other hand, the kids across the street also had BB guns, and we would often have battles against them....it's amazing that nobody lost an eye. Good times!

In my twenties I bought a Colt Combat Commander (.45). When I lived in Atl, I had a concealed carry permit.

My first bb gun was purchased in college, found one at Goodwill in Corvallis, OR. We also overpumped the shit out of that wee Daisy, shooting cans lined up against the stand-alone garage. It was fun target practice from the back porch about 20 ft away. Turns out the bb's were penetrating the cans, then the first wall of the garage, then the second wall of the garage, then the fence, and finally breaking the window of our neighbor's house next door. :eek:

I don't think I have a pic of it. I put a Vortex Sparc red dot on it... the fucking sight is a pain in the ass. 3/4 of the first few times I took it out the battery was dead (even though it should last 1 year+ on constantly) or it went into night vision mode on its own somehow (lowest brightness). 30rd mags though that are actually legal here in we-hate-freedom-istan.
