Yeah the full protection happens 2 weeks after the second shot. Until then, you need to be as careful as you were before. That was probably the case here.

That was exactly the point Rachel Walensky made last night. They have a years' worth of data and since the trials are now moving down the age range to children, they are confident lifting the mask mandate for fully vaccinated adults that are not immuno-comprimised.

And even in the sense of Polio and measles Where we have an effective vaccine, the reason there are some breakthroughs, and is still active in some countries. is because there have been mutations that avoid the vaccine. But it’s literally just a few mutations. Covid is still mutating and has numerous variations already.

Some, like Osterholm initially, said millions globally will die and it’ll pass thru the global population before losing its initial potency and become another yearly, changing virus like the flu. So all one can do is follow what they feeL makes the most sense for themselves, because there is no verifiable “science” that says this will be eradicated with vaccine. And since they already talking booster shots and worried about how effective current vaccines are against variants spreading now, you know it’s only a matter of time when the current vaccines will not be effective and Then, get in line again and continually chase that shot year to year or let your body learn to deal with it.

40-50% of FDA employees have not received the vaccine
Pfizer CEO has not be vaccinated
40% of nurses taking a pass
70% of military not vaccinated.

It's not approved by the FDA - it's experimental at this point.
All this pressure to take a vaccine that is only partially effective - for a virus that is less than 99.7% deadly is telling to me.
I'm still holding off - maybe in a year or two - of course, I may not make it that long............
