Even then you see he actually looked a bit scared and intimidated until John cooled a bit and put his guitar back on THEN he postured tough.
I'm not one to take a single moment and let it be what defines the person but I think this one specifically might give some insight to the man's character.

Meh thats just schtick to get attention through controversy. Considering a lot of the music thats popular here I think we probably know better than to take things like that at face value no?

Yeah I doubt he's killing anyone.
He was a Gen-X goth loser outcast who came of age in the early 90's and had success in music, allowing him to fully indulge his goth loser self into ever lower levels of piece-of-shithood.

That moment absolutely exposed him as having serious character flaws. Especially, doing it in front of a huge crowd with complete indifference to what they may think of his actions. I'm sure Manson is delusional enough to have believed that the crowd would be impressed.

Tale as old as time.
I can tell you as fact that if he were in my high school, he would have gotten hassled mercilessly. Goth kids in the 1980s' were a brand new freak show and were made fun of constantly. They even gave the straight edge kids someone to poke fun at.
I remember in my last year of high school seeing one of the new first year students when walking to school; He was a mega fat pasty ginger and I thought at the time there's another kid Manson. Sure as hell, after 2 months of bullying, he was in his spookykid uniform complete with badly dyed black hair

And here we are, dealing with the consequences of giving goths money.

No, he earned that money in a free market economy. Says more about us than him.

I was being a little facetious actually, but on a related note Armie Hammer supposedly wants to eat his girlfriend, literally.

I think they just ended up working at McDonald’s.
So was I. There were a small handful of teachers that were legit scared of some of my friends because of how they dressed and the bands on their shirts. Those friends were some of the nicest people I've ever met. And more than a few of them either worked at McDonald's or the local restaurants during high school lol. One friend had a Cradle of Filth shirt from a show he and I went to at Harpos. It had what appeared to be a decaying woman on the shirt with the tag line "dead girls don't say no." I think he wore that shirt for months before someone finally saw what it said and had him turn it inside out. That show was... something. I think I went because it was a concert and I'd never been to Harpos. Suffice to say, it was an experience. Everywhere in that club was general admission so we went to the pit. That was the first time I'd seen a group of skinheads up close at show goose stepping sieg heiling through the mosh pit. We just kept our distance and stayed out of their way.
RE: Manson, well I'm not surprised about the allegations. His music was always a guilty pleasure for me. Not the greatest by any means, but it was fun. I saw him live a couple times. Once was an Ozzfest in 2003 and the show was solid. No onstage bullshit or jackassery with the other band members. The second time was about 4 years ago. He was gassed halfway through his set and barely audible. Pretty sure he should be hanging it up anyway. Not that I'm excusing his behavior or anything. He's clearly a shitty person to even those he works with. And I guess part of me was waiting for this. A few years back, not very long ago, Twiggy Ramirez, his bassist/guitarist/cowriter, was fired over a rape allegation. And all I thought to myself at the time was "I'm sure there's some skeleton's in Brian's closet that'll make their way out." And here we are.
