so, i'd be fine on that bridge.

take off the rails on the sides, and i'd have to crawl across it.

i hate climbing ladders, and hate transitioning to a roof from a ladder even more. once i'm a few feet from the edge, i'm fine.

fuck, even my irrational fears have to be weird

Mine's a bit weirder than that. I have no trouble with ladders, roofs, hiking a very narrow trail with a steep drop off or cliff to one side, hang gliding. I've even walked a ledge outside the seventh floor in my college dorm, no problem. Put me on a bridge with rails, in a skyscraper office with glass windows, or have to approach a cliff head on, eek!

So, I'm irrationally fearful of heights when I'm perfectly safe, no real fear at all when the situation I'm dealing with could kill me.

I don't consider myself as having an overly fear of heights, but watching this video, and some of the people haning over the edge feet first makes my legs feel weak......... :-t
