And apparently he was playing the song “Downtown” by Petula Clark leading up to the blast.

So this sounds like a mild mannered, lonely depressed guy that was basically done with life but didn’t want to go out unknown, had the heart to make sure no one else got killed, and the sense of humor to choose a theme song.

Huh.

it's doubtful he was a terrorist , seems nutball though so I hope they find something that explains it all .

Yeah that's how I'm reading this too. It's awful, but it's also sad in a way.

Well the law enforcement definition of terror is "destruction of life and/or property in the name of a cause, ideology or religion".

Now what he did was terrifying, no doubt, so I won't lose any sleep if people call him a terrorist. But the "in the name of" part seems to be missing so far.
