Cyberpunk 2077

Post by fretless »

Was a nightmare install , 4+ hours only to find out install disc 2 won't run ! WTF !!! I try to snoop around in the OS and it asks if I want to clear the queue ? Um ok ? so bam the the install goes away . WTF !!! Install 2 another 5 hrs later and nope disc 2 won't run . So just by chance I have another xbox one here and after another 5 hrs on a different xbox it runs ! After the 2 hr update of course . Ok very important during character creation you must install your characters genitals , if you don't you'll be sorry later lol , yes you can cross over if you want to :hmm: sooooo after all that . Looks good ! :D :cup:

I may be waiting on this one. I'll probably get it when I get my PS5, hopefully sometime next year. Plus, knowing CD Project Red, they'll do a bunch of Quality of Life patches for it.

I'm as much sick of the woke shit as the next guy but whose being the triggered snowflake on this one?

Who cares if you can fucking transition in a game?
Meanwhile they're getting criticized for not being woke enough on it.

That said I'm intrigued to see if this game turns out well after the updates, the initial reviews are certainly less than stunning.

So it’s a video game and you can make your character have whatever naughty bits you like.

I’m more upset about the fact that it took eight years to develop, and it still isn’t finished. As a gamer for nearly 35 years, that is a major reason why I am irritated with modern gaming, along with micro transactions.

Now, when a developer adds new content, as a bonus, without affecting the core game, or adds new fighters, in the case of fighting games (Sephiroth in the new Smash Bros. springs immediately to mind), I am not as bothered, because the core game is finished.

Yup, to me it's completely pointless these days because most games still require you to download tons of content from the internet even though you have the disc(s). They are just a waste of space and plastic now IMO

I like having physical media still for a lot of things. Games included. Granted it’s not as necessary for most consoles anymore, but on the Switch I especially like to have the game carts just because extended storage isn’t the best even after upgrading.

Been playing it a bit and it really is what I was looking for. Will be even more so once the kinks are worked out. One thing is for sure: I need a new graphics card! Anyone upgrading and willing to donate their old one?

I hear you on that. J upgraded my CPU/mobo/ram earlier in the year as I got a rocking deal on a 3600 due to accidental double discount on eBay. I'm still rocking a gtx 980 which ain't gonna cut it. Holding out for a 6800 series card to come in stock at a reasonable price.

Yeah, I doubled my RAM and bought a cool widescreen monitor but my decrepit RX 550 is pretty pathetic.

The 980 is actually pretty decent, should run it fine, but im guessing you want to max everything out lol

I have the rtx2070, should be fine for raytrace, we shall see lol.. I wish games would use full raytrace
