The two freakiest boxers I have ever watched. I love Iron Mike. But, betting against Roy Jones is a stupid idea.

Tyson also has like 20kg on Jones. I wonder what the final weigh-in would be like. Mike not having fought in 15 years is going to be a huge consideration, but he's one of the scariest looking bastards out there with how big and fast he is. It's either going to be interesting or just really boring.

Mike has been getting busy lately. But Roy Jones is the man. Honestly with how healthy Mike looks I think this actually may be a really entertaining fight. Certainly more entertaining than a Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight.

I don't think I can get excited about a fight between two boxers in their 50's and way past their prime.
It seems to be a bit on the silly side of things.

Repeated hits to the head are not good. Repeated hits to the head when you're 50+ will get you parked in a wheelchair with a drool cup...

I really enjoy both as fighters. However it turns out, I'm sure it's going to either be comical or awesome!

it will be more entertaining than any Mayweather fight lol, but yeah, that last fight was a snorefest..... I have a ton of respect for him as a fighter, the dude is SUPER clinical in his technique, but that also makes him boring AF to watch IMO....

This fight could go either way I think... both are monsters and while we've seen more of Jones in recent times since his last fight was only 2 years ago, I wouldn't could Tyson out at all.....

Age has nothing on these guys. Tyson is hungry. It should be a good one.

Unfortunately, this is probably a good prediction.
Lots of clinches/hugs.....

The high point of the fight is going to be when the girls carry out the round # cards in between each ring.

yeah that's how I feel too but on the other hand, I get still being hungry to do what you do best. For some, retirement/inactivity can be more harmful than injury. So I won't judge.. hopefully they manage to get through this fight without any permanent damage

Guys like Tyson make me wonder if testosterone replacement therapy is something I should start considering. There’s a reason why older men in 2020 like Tyson, Rogan, The Rock, for example... still look like they’re in prime form. That shit is not achieved on the natch yo.

At 37 I definitely feel a little bit different than I did at my peak form ten years ago. :hmm:

Dudes almost certainly way higher than TRT levels but most athletes except those with really strict use of WADA/USADA are these days so who cares.

Saw Jones on Rogan a while back talking about this. Basically said the longer it takes to happen, the less confident he is.

I mean yeah they’re in their 50s but both of them were two of the best boxers the world has ever seen.

I think it’s gonna be good and I’ll pay for it as long as it’s not an exhibition fight.
