Billy Joe Shaver RIP

Post by Yarbicus »

One of the last old school country story tellers. Wrote some incredible songs. I actually him and his son Eddie several times at the music store I worked at in Texas. Billy looked like "5 miles of bad road" and was exactly as his down home good ol' boy persona. Eddie was probably the best guitar player I ever met; unfortunately, he died of an overdose way too young.

I buddy of mine who I grew up with went to Sharpstown high school in Houston with his son Eddy, he hung out with him and got to hear him play thru his Marshall at his house, he said he was a badass.
