Not sure how many here knows Lou but he was Les Paul's sideman during Les' NYC years and an amazing jazz guitarist in his own right.

Sorry to hear that. :(

I went to see Les Paul at a club in New York sometime around 2000, I think it may have been The Iridium. I was excited to see Les but it was Lou who impressed me the most. His rhythm playing was simply amazing.

RIP Lou.
