Band Practice Day - for this half-ass rhythm guitar player in a generic cover band in the middle of a cornfield(TM). First time in more than 10 months. No real goals other than to have some socially-distanced fun. I've been working 11+ hour days since the COVID/WFH shit hit and I'm burnt. I took what was only my second vacation day of the year Friday (I get five weeks). It's been a stretch... Now, I'm trying to re-learn the songs I should already know. I warned you... Half-Ass

I'm going with this. It just feels right and sounds righteous. F#$% the hum...

:thu: I butcher more than commune with the rokk, but if you squint (and drink alcohol) you can recognize the song

Right on man, sounds like you earned a fun day! 60 cycle hum = pure rock and roll, but I get that it bothers some people. Just get some practice rolling off the volume knob at the end of each song, and no one will notice the hum!

I love when my amp hums and squeals like a motherfucking pig!!! (Well..... sometimes!) :D
It's the only way to get that awesome speaker distortion.
