with all that on top of the burger, did it really matter what it was made of?

pro tip : cook bacon on grill in tin foil with beer, shred it, add it to raw ground meat for burger patties, enjoy medium done burgers safely.

This. A perfect burger requires no pampering.

I am quite familiar with this method of burger making. When I was a chef for the rich white people catering company I often had a smug-grill-out at golf courses for people in collared shirts and rolex watches. I would combine ground beef with ground lamb, as well as tons of other mixes with sausage and shit.

God damn white people...

So, if the perfect burger requires no pampering, then why would you mix in shredded bacon?

bacon isn't pampering. bacon is beautiful.

did you really just ask that question?

Lamb burgers are actually really good with olives, funnily enough.

Combining ground pork and beef also makes for some really good meatballs.

That's an interesting burger combination; I could see how that assortment of flavours would blend in an interesting way.

cheese, medium egg, the OCCASIONAL bbq sauce or beer mustard.

only non-gay burger toppings, period.

Nicely done bro. More people need to realize how good a fried egg is on a burger!

I'm a little more minimalist with my meats though. Beef or lamb, pretty much. I've done the bacon thing too, but I honestly prefer the bacon atop the burger, as it retains more texture and flavor profile contrast...but that's just me.

Again, nice job!

Yeah bacon in the burger is cool, but nothing beats a crunch salty piece of bacon on top of fat-drenched meat patties. srs

because mayo fucking sucks, no matter what sauce you put in it (tobasco, horseradish, wasabi, yes, even sriracha. and its not a goddamned aioli, its mayo mixed with things, for the record. not directed at yall, but one of my pet peeves when people try to dress their bullshit mayo mix up with that word.)

and irt the bbq thing, thats why i said occasional, as in when some cooks a substandard burger. ;)

yeah ive been making some decent stuff over the years, but i long ago gave up on photographing it.

this, and not going to the gym, and my general lack of readily available mirrors in my house make my instagram account practically useless by most's standards.

and yeah shots of even gordon ramsey's food, without proper lighting, etc., will looks like shit.

these arent for menus. these are, and im sure why we do it, proof that we applied temperature to food items and transformed them into dishes that didnt poison us or our familly?

too much orange and green in that mofo for me, and the blueberry demi...would try, just not visually appealing.

im not saying theres anything you could have done, making meatloaf look good isnt really #1 priority, nor should it be. also, that bite to the side with the char on it looks ok.

Yeah, I'm sure everything you make looks like it was prepared by Gordan Fucking Ramsey.

Also, I don't see how it looks "nasty", it ain't the Ritz, it's my house.

That meatloaf looks fucking delicious, so does the burger and potatoes, in fact it's making me hungry just looking at it. :idk:

I don't think Julia's or Chili's do blue-berry/balsamic demi-glace, or that you're gonna find a tomato that looks that damn delicious in either of their kitchens. Purple Peruvian Potatoes? I think not.

Jeezus take it easy, just j/k.......................
