I haven't been bitten by chiggers since I was 15 and living in Costa Rica. At first I didn't know what bit me and started thinking I had bed bugs (which is a scary fucking prospect). Turns out my Dad is bit up as well so we're starting to think we're being attacked at the office.

He says to put campho phenique on the sores, Amy says nail polish. Way say you GAB? Should I rub the blood of a thousand babies on them? Perhaps a cocktail of horse piss and vinegar? I gotta do something, cause this shit itches unbelievably bad.

Chiggers suck. I have a scar on my foot from a bad chigger bite I got last year that drove me nuts.

I usually dob laquer thinner on chigger bites. Burns like hell for a bit, but brings a bit of relief & smothers the chigger

i remember when i first brought verfcode to tejas. we went out to my aunt's ranch in the hill country, out near fredericksburg. we were to walk the grounds, and my aunt and i warned "look out for chiggers!"

what are chiggers, the attractive virginian asked. so we regaled her with tails of insects that burrow into your skin by the hundreds causing itching an irritation. she said "um, FUCK that". so i told her not to be such a pussy. she insisted on retaining her vaginal state, looking downwards at the dry grass every 3 steps or so and jumping like she saw a sea of spiders. told her ot relax.

got back to the ranch house. not a fucking bite on her. my legs: lit the fuck up with chigger bites. motherfuckers.
