Amsterdam is my favorite VH song ever....and the wife is taking a minute to get ready to leave for our honeymoon, so I thought I'd kill a few minutes, and try to play it.
Here you go.

Sounds pretty cool Loop! Although that will probably not be too many peoples favorite VH tune. Side question, does your Parker have the carbon fiber neck?

Thanks dudes. My Parker is an early prototype of the singlecut...no carbon fiber, as mine was a proto for the imports. I used my AxeFx for this, though I also have a really good VH patch I wrote for my Eleven Rack.

Do you have a harmonizer going on this or is that EVH's guitar in the backing track I hear? Really tight playing. I too actually dig this album and even the tone on it.

Shea: yes and yes. I'm running a detune chorus effect, and playing along with the album track.

Thanks man. It's all perspective though. I think I suck, because I idolize musicians 1000x better than me. I feel like Kurt Cobain trying to play Vai most of the time lol.

I love that song and that whole album but to be honest I can't really hear your guitar besides the pick/strum noise
Balance is an absolute benchmark in tone and production for me
