Apple Cider Donuts

There are a few orchards near us that sell these. I'm pretty sure that they put crack in them, because once I start eating them I can't stop. Ditto for brownie chips.

What's your guilty pleasure when it comes to stuffing your face?

Apple cider donuts and apple fritters are very different, but equally awesome. If there was a tray of my grandmas apple fritters in front of me right now, I'd engage in mortal combat with anyone else in the room to insure I didn't have to share.

I'm not quite sure why Apple cider donuts are so awesome, which is why I made the comment about them putting crack in them. They really are just a powdered donut, except they put Apple cider in the donut batter and cover them with a combo of sugar and cinnamon instead of just powdered sugar. No rocket science, but they are better than the sum of their parts for whatever the reason. I think it's the crack.
