There is truth in this. I'm reluctant to ride in the rain until I get the frame rust-proofed on the inside, and it NEVER stops raining anymore. But I should at least get the rollers back out and start putting in some sweating time.

I'm with you. I don't like riding in the rain either. Especially since I need to re-grease my hub, so I don't want to run into any issues.

I need to finish getting parts together to rebuild my old aluminum bike. That thing was rode in the rain almost as much as it was rode on sunny days. Never a single issue outside popped spokes, and that was weight related, not rain related. I could probably gnab a cheap groupo somewhere and have it back in shape relatively soon. Only places I couldn't skimp would be wheels and BB/crank. Still too big to ride the lightweight stuff there.

Do it, 100 watt. Getting out and just riding for even a few minutes can clear your head so nicely. Granted, I prefer getting out in the country and pouring on the miles, but even a half hour is a nice break.

BILLY!

Brohugs for putting up with my rambling shit during my departure. Sorry 'bout that.

I ever get a chance to get out your way I'd love to toss some beers with ya or something. Dunno when that'd happen, but hell, this year's been weird enough it might turn out I get a huge vacation at some point.

KC is probably more realistic than CA, but you never know.

Really, I owe a lot to a buddy on this. You tell somebody you're giving up on music and three days later a new guitar shows up with a note that says "You are not giving up," you kinda have to do some self analysis. Worked through some serious shit, some not so serious shit, and then took him out and got silly to top it off.

I do have a tendency to overanalyze. The wife's helping me out a lot on that front at the moment.

Thanks for the welcome back, man.

I have a similar disposition. I've found as I have gotten older, I don't get nearly as aggro on myself as I used too. Just realizing how finite it all is has made me focus on things that make ME happy. Everything else can go fuck itself away man. Seriously.

Guitars, music, bikes, surfboards, amps and poon are the only things allowed on my radar now. Anything else gets clipped.

:thu:

I'm kind of getting to that point myself. I'm still sorting out some shit, but I'm at least at the point where I'm acknowledging I can't do everything everybody else wants me to do and still accomplish what I want to accomplish. That was a critical step for me.

The rest is slowly being sorted.

I can't wait until Leia finds out she's related to Vader AND Luke. Wonder if they'll have another Wookie scene. (That sites blocked at work so I won't be able to look at it until I'm home.)

Speaking of sequels, WHEN THE HELL IS THE NEXT PIRATES SEQUEL?! They left it on a cliffhanger with the one sister still missing and the ladies were heading out to find her. Come on porn companies. If the blockbusters can crank out sequels every two years, so can you. :cop:

Have you seen the Evil Dead pr0n parody? My wife bought if a couple mos ago. It looked more like an Evil Dead movie than the recent remake.

Last time we were at the p0rn0 shop, they had the Clerks parody lol.

There's an Evil Dead pronz? My wife would kill me because she hates the Evil Dead movies, but I'd get it. I know, it's tough to get past her hating the best movies ever made.

I've heard of the Clerks parody, but haven't looked into it yet.

Bobbi Starr is a dirty, dirty girl. And proud of it. :thu:

There's this new girl called Lana something er other, can't remember. But she looks a LOT like Emma Watson. Too bad they didn't pull her for the Harry Potter parody.
