Every time i see homes from other states, I think, damn Arizona homes look so bland and boring compared to everywhere else.

I just think the opposite. Love that Sante Fe look

Seems like everyone lives in a bigger and/or nicer place than I do . . .

and it probably costs less too.. I miss some aspects of living in SoCal (mostly my friends) but the cost of living is not one of them. I always knew it was expensive to live there but when I moved out I realized how ridiculous it actually is.

I was in a much smaller house up until three years ago. Went from 1300 square feet to 2400 I think is what my current home is. I love being able to park in a garage

The electric bill in the summertime sucks hard between running the ac and pool. I’ve had months close to $400 , the house is only 1710 sq feet.

That's okay, I had enough of the "taking care of a house" lifestyle. It was like 2400 sq ft, but I didn't have a mancave, because there was no basement, so, honestly, I'm really not missing much in the way of real, usable space and lifestyle, and I'm not spending homeowner money anymore either.

1. Those look like the Florida homes, like the one my Mom owns, sans the spanish tile roof.
2. That looks like Walter White's pool
