Very nice mang! My drummer has an almost identical white 3, but it's not a Mazdaspeed.

I'm actually trying to find a Mazdaspeed 6 wagon with the 6 speed. They are pretty rare apparently.

Agreed because its such a great value, but not bad either way. I don't know Canadian prices but in the US you can get the base version around $22.5k in white (white is slightly more, but also the color a lot of people like).

lol I don't think I'm going to do that. I bought it as my daily driver/commuter. Not to ruin my tires on a track, driving like a douchebag.

linthat22 wrote:You gonna put flow masters on that bad boy?

Probably not. Once my warranty is up, who knows? Maybe I'll pick up a Cobb AccessPort, a CorkSport cold air intake, and a cat-back exhaust.

Chuck Nutz wrote:No tech package = fail

lol I already assplained it to you, but I'll explain to these guys why I didn't get the tech package.

This one is the one they had on the lot. Had I wanted a white one with the tech package, I would need to order one from likely Vancouver.

To order one from Vancouver, it would take a long time, I'd get hit on freight twice, and I would need to be lucky enough to order one that hasn't been in Vancouver long enough to have the front license plate holes drilled (we don't need front license plates in Saskatchewan). It would cost me more than the $2500 for stuff I wouldn't use (blind spot monitor, huge centre console satnav screen, etc). My car has factory HIDs installed already (didn't find out until last night lol), so I'm good.

Realtalk: I can actually fit two 4x12's in this car, 2 heads, and 4 guitars with not too much trouble.

it's not driving like a douchebag! it's about driving the car to it's limits in a safe and controlled enviroment. and it's a hell of a lot of fun. I track my SI quite a bit and it's a blast! I imagine the Mazdaspeed 3 would be just as much fun!

FWIW, before i bought my SI, I test drove a Mazdaspeed 6. Powerful beast, but insurance and maintinence was very costly, and I'm a former auto tech. I don't need actual numbers, but what's a 3 like in that regard?

Insurance wasn't much more ($60 more per year?) and I have warranty on this bitch for the next 5 years. It'll be more than my old 3, but not substantially.

LOL I test drove a WRX. the brakes were too soft, suspension made it feel like a huge car, interior was cheap, and the gear box felt like I was stirring a pot if chilli.

Tech package does not get good reviews on these things. Majority of people say the Bose sounds terrible.

I have a Subaru and I'll agree that the brakes are soft. I can't gel with your other points though. My wife has a CX-5 and the interior is definitely cooler on the Mazda's, but i wouldn't say any better quality really.

PS: I love your car.

CX-5 =\= MS3.

That's like comparing the interior of a base Impreza to a BRZ STI

Do you agree with what I said about the different gear boxes? That was the biggest deal breaker for me.
