Got deep-diving down the webhole on Bobby Gustafson and discovered his new band: Satan's Taint
There's a whole story about this song and trying to bring in Sid Falk to do the drums, but health issues got in the way. I like that it continues the themes but doesn't really reuse any aspect of the original. Not in love with that guitar tone, but the song is pretty decent considering.
I haven't listened to the whole album yet, but it ain't bad from what I've heard. lacks a little something in production, but the tunes are definitely right in the vein of what you'd expect Bobby to be playing. Glad to see he's still got some music to share with us after all this time.

I haven't heard this tune. Cool continuation of the original song in the intro \m/ I think the name is a little unfortunate of a choice But in trying to come up with an "original" metal band name was pretty much ridiculous. So I get it. Great riff writer
Guitar tone and production is the best thing about this in my opinion. Song is ok. Reminds me of a band called Illdisposed from the early 90s. Altho I’m sure they are still around. The riffing is pretty generic and relying on the downtuning. But the tone is pretty killer
