SB, stoked to see what this thing can do.

Also, we’re over 1700 posts and almost 70 pgs in about shaving.

You’re going to love the safety bar. Smoother than the oc. But definitely more aggressive than the timeless 95.

I think you’ll like it though. Just go steep and you’ll be fine. Ride the bar. Not the cap.

Yeah, read that bit about it. Been practicing with the Timeless and getting great shaves that way, think I’ll dig it.

Repeated the Epic SOTD. Was in a brutal rush.

It still turned out perfect.

BTW, Stein, you still thinking about the Tradere/Blackland??

Off and on; I kind of want to see what I think of the Blackbird.

Other part of me loves the shave I get off the Ikon you flipped me and doesn’t see any reason for almost the exact same razor.

I’m getting sick of this cold water shaving nonsense. It goes right up there with flat earthers.

I can’t read one thread where somebody doesn’t suggest it. My hair turns to steel with cold water.

Absolute rubbish. I’m going to block Facebook people who promote this shit. They can’t post without mentioning it.

Never even tried such a thing. What are the supposed benefits?

I really like warm/hot water, I dig how the brush stays hot. WTF shaves with cold water?

I'm thinking dudes with REALLY thin/weak beards can shave cold. I need the heat to soften my hair.

They say it reduces irritation.

It increases irritation for me since the blade stops in place and digs into my face.

Just decided I’ve never cashed anything before, why not.

Shit is ROUGH tho, if this smelled any stronger it’d be a no go.

I’m gonna finish this and then use a different soap every day for a fuckin month.

Another fucking epic shave:

So, I've made a decision. The Machined Dart is awesome for me. The Polished Dart was superfluous and it's out. $140 value. $90 shipped for any of you guys. Stein gets first dibs since he asked first.

The Minora is so good. It will be sad when I run out of these. Bummer they're $.80 a pop now.

Another Saponificio Varesino win. Stella Alpina. probably my 4th favorite out scent out of my SV soaps, but it just performed so well. The 4.2 beta is money.

The Barbedeaux is the shit. Greasy and smooth with a non-descript odor. But not viscous or gelatenous. It's awesome. Layered great with my Prada LR Sport.

New Brush is behaving awesome. Still trying to get the mothball badger nutsack scent out. But great.

12/10 again. I'm happy to be back in gear with good shaves. That string of mediocrity was bumming me out. It's always related to piss poor blades. It never fails.

Dude, that’s hot. I was gonna grab the red Roman and missed it. It’s the hottest brush I’m ever seen.

Btw, your dart is in the mail!!

That green swirl on the bottom was what got me.

Agreed on the red hotness; I ALMOST grabbed that one too, but the solid color/flecks reminded me too much of my blue/silver one. Keep an eye out for the next couple drops; he won't do an exact duplicate but he might do something similar.

Thanks for mailage!

I sort of want the other ones still on there. I want to spend money to kill the pain.

But I think I should hold out for something prettier.

Kind of meh today.
Soap amazing
Razor and blade felt a bit aggressive to be using two days in a row. Maybe the blade was toast. Tossed it.
I’m starting to wonder if I like paa aftershave. This really smells nothing like real sun up. This has a nasty, sharp, spicy juniper scent that isn’t adding up.

Brush was great, but I’m kind of liking the 30mm more on the chub hub.

Hmm, 9/10

Dudes, colonial released their USA general artist club razor. I kind of want it, but it’s like the price of a vector.

I'm still waiting for Classic Shaveing to ship the new, Occam's Enoch razor.
It was supposed to ship at the end of August but, they reported delays while they retool the head to accept some kind of a Schick blade.
The Enoch doesn't have those annoying end protrusions like the original Occam's Razor. I really dig the original Occam's but, I know I will like the Enoch better.

Well, there isn’t going to be much activity from me in this endeavor for a while, because of the move, but I am stocking up on blades before I return to Wisconsin. More precisely, 1000 Astra Platinums. $80, with Amazon Prime. Free shipping; should be in Minnesota by Wednesday or Thursday.

Yes!!!! That’s awesome. I don’t know how they are selling astras for so cheap

FWIW, I almost bought 1000 Gillette permasharp blades for like $100 on eBay, but decided I’m not in love with them.
