Fretless and Rubato aren't online anymore. They definitely felt it.

Mojo to our CA bros!

From the news:
The 10:33 a.m. quake was centered in the Searles Valley, a remote area of San Bernardino County about 100 miles from Los Angeles.
In the Los Angeles area, the quake was slow and steady, lasting about 30 seconds.

Hope all CA folks are fine. We felt the aftershock last night for sure. Wife and I were watching Stranger Things and both looked at each other like, "WTH???"

I was totally expecting an earthquake yesterday and it didn't happen.

I was checking out the street-views of Ridgecrest and Trona on Google maps and . . . well, it's a desert community: not much in grass or trees (duh); not much in "buildings" more than structures, per se. So at the risk of sounding like a snobby (sub)urbanite there wasn't much to be damaged or injured in the first place, which is good.

A 7.1 in metropolitan L.A.? 100s and 100s of deaths; 10,000s of injuries; and $billions-$trillions in damage. Jeez, I can already see the lines, the price gouging, etc. I remember talking to a teenager about earthquake preparedness and he said his dad said they were alright, "We got a generator and a Glock."

But these recent "small" quakes bring me and my neighbors outside and we chill and touch base.

The first big one I didn't even feel, but the second bigger one most of my family felt but I didn't, and I was sitting on the floor. :idk:

Most everyone else we know felt it to some degree.
