AC Window Security Cage halp

Post by VTM »

One of the businesses I own has an office with a window air conditioner, and I would like to purchase an AC security cage.

I've searched ebay, amazon, home depot, and the google. Everywhere I go, sold out!

I've found some sketchy youtube sellers that claim to custom build but that's about it.

Here's what I'm looking for:

Move somewhere you don’t need a security cage. Problem solved

You don't have a fabricator that could put one together up there in Fargo?

I'll probably just modify an animal cage.

The window is up high so I'm not really concerned with someone getting in or stealing it for the copper, my concern is water damage if the AC were to fall out, especially on the weekend as no one is there. The cage would keep the AC in place if the little screws and plastic curtains holding it in were to fail, which could happen if a bird danced on it hard enough. I could put a support bracket underneath the AC which I might end up doing, but I would prefer a cage.

Pay a homeless man to stand there with a 12ga. Or even a slingshot. That'll be much more fun .
