Am I supposed to post the same rig as last year in order to defend my title?

I want all those bass rigs , I want more bass rigs . Guitar rigs are also bass rigs sometimes the other way around . All amps are bass amps even if low wattage . Some have Bass right in the fucking name . I'm not making this shit up !

on a side note I wish you all much luck , I however simply do not use any gear faithfully enough to claim any real use from a single piece of gear . Except a pbass , so here she is . One of many and a simple song dedication going out to all you faithful gear whores .

Yeah kinda brutal man. Maybe prizes aren’t big enough for people to drag their dusty asses into their music rooms for a pic.

Maybe the sneak attack is best for next year. Post a “show your gear!” Thread. Lock it, create the classes and open a vote.

I’ve got a nice blackface combo and some marshal half stacks but I guess having to “stage them” with the wires all neat, pedals all lined up, makes it a pain in the ass. If it was just a pic, I’d lean into the room and snap the pic with no care.

I was hoping to see more. Shirtless Archer was supposed to put up the Jube rig :cop: I’m just giving Mike grief because I consider him a friend on here.

Funny thing is it wasn’t a total lawyer rig that won last year. It was a Jube. With a Pittman Lawyercaster but still. My Metropoulos rig and the Friedman stuff would be closer to Lawyer status than a Jube I would think. I’m kind of surprised because we had people asking about it so I thought now was a good time to get the ball rolling. And we had some solid prizes I thought. PLX makes excellent pedals so a free one is damn awesome. And the runner up Balaguer pickup is no joke. At least to me :-/. Maybe next year I’ll try to get more hype for it or something.

Would more people enter this year if I extended the deadline by a week?

It wouldn't hurt. It'd also give me a outside chance of getting a different rig into another category

So yeah, I'm totes not biased. Although all of my amps are! ZIIIIiinnnnngggggg.

Not with the combo. Open back cab diffuses the sub lows. Keeps it nice and tight ;)
