Re: Farewell 2018
This reminds me that I am long over due for a fling with Jimi. Time to dive back in a discover something new. Which is never that hard with him.
In a musical sense, I'll remember 2018 as the year I rediscovered PJ Harvey. She has completely and easily dominated the last 12 months of listening. I really tried to get into her stuff in the early '90s. But it was too heady for my bong soaked brain. So it sailed right over my head. Different story now.

I'm for whatever puts me further past 2017. Fuck that guy.
This was a good year. Hoping for an even better one on the flipside.
In addition to the Woodstock milestone, 2019 will be marked by the 50th anniversary of the first (and second) landings of men on the Moon. And we just passed the 50th anniversary of the very first time men left orbit to travel to the Moon on Apollo 8, which included a pretty amazing TV broadcast on Christmas Eve, 1968.

Re: Farewell 2018
yeah super cool , my birth year '69, so yeah 50 is coming for me too but I grew up with that space age thing , it shaped our country and our peoples for many many years . But now with imgur and other sites we can see the astronauts posting goofy things they do in space ! Bring on '19 !!!
