I'm sick as a dog and I fucking hate it. I woke up cuz I was having trouble breathing and took a bunch of useless otc crap. I am going to the Dr. when she opens.

My kid brought it home from school. Fucking dickhead parents that send their sick kid to school.

I'm hoping for some codeine later to make this day tolerable. I just want to wrap up, nap and watch cartoons like a 9 year-old right now.

Well I slept off and on from 11 p.m. on Wednesday until 7 p.m.on Thursday when I started to come back to normal. I tried to wake up at 10 .m. on Wednesday and I felt like I was hit by a truck. And as if being sick wasn't bad enough, my heater broke, so the house was cold. I had to wake up at 3 p.m. for the A/C guy to fix the heater and then I went back to bed. I'm still a little under the weather, but I'm a whole lot better.

Thanks, I'll get some. My son has autism, so I've been reading up on glutathione and glutamate deficiency. It's interesting how the probiotics in your digestive track, b vitamins and amino acids are all inter-related. If there is a breakdown anywhere then neural pathways do not function correctly.

hate to hear that about your son. so, you can't actually use glutathione to boost glutathione levels b/c stomach acid destroys so you need glycine and n-acetyl L-glycine is the best absorbed form. any time you see an acetylated form of an amino/vitamin, they absorb way better.

yeah, probiotics, b vitamins and aminos are all inter-related. if your stomach starts to get screwed up from, say, antibiotics, you won't absorb lots of vitamins and such. messed up gut flora can cause all sorts of issues, as you are aware of.

I went to the Dr. on Friday and got a Z pack. Tomorrow is the last day for it and I'm still sick today. Saturday was my birthday and I wasn't feeling all that great. Today, I still have nasal congestion and a cough that has become painful. My voice is shot too. But from a mental and body ache standpoint, I'm much better.
