He was my favorite player in Skynyrd. Great tone and style. He passed away yesterday. RIP. :cry:

I always loved the band's music but I have no idea who played what for the guitar parts. :idk:

So, one day years ago, I was looking at Les Paul pics on Facebook, probably Vic DaPra's page.
I noticed a comment from Ed King. I replied and then decided to send him a DM for shit's and giggles.
He happily replied and we talked about dogs and guitars for a good while (by messenger).
I continued to wish him happy birthday and Happy Holiday's over the years, and he was always cordial with replies.
He was like any guitar geek. RIP :(
