Must be awesome to be so awesome that you can straddle mother nature and wet rodeo the fuck out like that. When called upon to meet such a challenge my balls would be very much in my stomach and not available for this.

You'd be surprised at the things they live through. They all train like professional athletes and do full on water rescue certs, etc..

It's definitely no joke.

Hit youtube and check out the footage of Tahiti going off the hook. It's terrifying.

Ditto. I have gone sky diving and bungee jumping, but could see that wall of water making my balls recede to my abdomen for sure. An oncoming wall of water terrifies me more than any monster/villain from any horror movie.

I've riddien and been rolled by some 15'+ waves. That was like getting hit by a bus and then ragdolled. The sort of thing where you have no control of how your body is contorting and being torqued. It rattles your joints as deep as they can be hit. Knowing what I do, those massive tow-in waves are something I want nothing to do with.

Im curious... That wasnt a tow in, so its hard to catch anything that big.. & depending on the zoom & distance, it can LOOK a lot worse. However, it says 80 feet. He looks like a fuckin fighter jet speeding across the sky.
Im not sure it was lucky to catch it, but it was damn lucky not to wipeout.
