Lizzy was seriously awesome.

I love Thin Lizzy. Phil Lynott had such a charisma about him that really carried over into the songs. Been jamming a lot to Cowboy Song, such a fun song to bash around on without a care in the world.

As much as I love the classic stuff, I do love some of the harder edge songs too.

A few personal favorites of mine:

This first one is a no brainer.

Those cats started it all . We would never have had our 80's metal bands without them .

Other than Jailbreak; this is the first Lizzy song I heard. And I LOVED it

Saw Thin Lizzy as a warm up band, when I was 16 or 17... didn't know who they were but, they were awesome.

Woulda been super cool to see them in their heyday!
I remember hearing their Jailbreak album as a kid & still being like "wow!" ... such great powerful work by the whole band, but that guitar-work & sound (yeah, LP's thru Marshalls), was just killer.
Chemistry... Gorham & Robertson, its a shame Robertson left & funny to me that they werent better known.
