Rivers of Nihl?

Post by JiveTurkey »

Heard this on Sirius the other day. Actually; I caught the solo section in the center (no spoilers from me) and had to dig it up. Checks a ton of extreme boxes as well as being pretty impressive :rawk:

Some cool stuff being done, imo \m/

Amazing stuff right there

It always amazes me when these guys want to tell "their side of the story"

Joe and Raf were talking about this album on FB. It doesn't really jostle my jollies for some reason.....I think its the lack of hooks and/or epic riffs :idk:

I caught that sax solo the first time round and was like  :rawk: AFA hooks; my criteria gets wider as I get older. Hooks aren't the same as they used to be and all that :hmm: I dig the blasts and I think the songwriting is diverse enough while still falling firmly into extreme metal category.

Yeah, Rivers gets in my extreme playlist quite a lot. Diverse, heavy, interesting.
