Without a doubt, the most somber, messed-up sounds I've ever

Post by BroSlinger »

So, I've had gun fever lately, and I haven't been playing as much. I've still managed to expand the pedal collection quite a bit. I'm exploring quite a few messed-up lo-fi sounds.

1. Throughout the vid, I have the Skreddy Echo, a Boss RV-2, and the EQD Dispatch Master activated.

2. Vid starts with just a Skreddy Screwdriver for the main tone looped into the Boss RC-2.

3. Then, I add some fuzzier leads with the Make Sounds Loudly Cornish P-2 Clone.

4. Then, the really messed up fuzz is the Smallsound/Bigsound Hawk. Sounds like a sad, blown up speaker.

5. THEN, I fire up the Absinthe melody on the Make Sounds Loudly Lo-fi Looper.(this uses an ANSWERING MACHINE chip!)

6. Everything disintegrates into a very sad, but not out of control drone. I'm proud of this, even though this camera angle sounds weirder than normal

Wow! You could do some film scoring work with that setup and talent.

Sounds awesome. How are you down tuning the loop around 6:45? I love that stuff, and usually just warp the signal on my carbon copy. However it's somewhat out of control and a pain to do since the original signal is lost.

The mslp looper has a momentary switch you hold down to wind it down like that. Amazing pedal. Only $150.

I was ready to quit my job yesterday, that's why I filmed this. Plus, my stuff just happened to sound better than normal.

Thanks for the awesome praise. I need it to keep working to support my pedal habit.

I hear ya. I'm really just a career switch away from feeling good about things. Even with the miserable cold weather.

Awesome sounds Gene!!!!
