This is the view from my office window this morning. That's I-15, headed north towards Salt Lake City. It is fucking May.

I enjoy seeing the bumper to bumper traffic outside my window in the morning and mocking the commuters. (I live in the city and commute to the suburbs, so I get very little traffic myself.) But yeah, if I have a report or spreadsheet to work on, I usually have to pull the blinds or I get hypnotized by the cars. :nerd:

This is true. And by this weekend, it should be nice enough to go hiking in the canyons with the wife and dog.

Speaking of mountains, this is a view of my clinic from the West. My office (the one I just took that photo from) is under the "V" in "vision." I should count my blessings. It's a real photo and it looks like a goddamn postcard from Switzerland:

Dang, that's sucks. It's unseasonably cool here, too. 60 degrees, normally we should be 80-85 right now. I want warm weather, dammit.

Hmmm, sounds like by my house. Nothing like living on the corner of a main street with a fire station 5 blocks down 1 way, a hospital 6 blocks the other way and cop cars all over.

Out of where I work I see more car dealerships mostly. Commercial/Industrial parks FTL.

Nope, that's methodist hospital. Has a see through roof like the Galleria in the entrance. The gallerias is much bigger than that

It's weird. Last year, it was in the high 90s and blue skies by mid-March. Now it's may and it's sort of puttering around with low 80s and clouds. While I am all for this, I would like a couple of ball-busters for an excuse to go down to the creek with Shea and the dogs.

And the ladies.

Mostly the ladies.
Misplaced priorities and squandered opportunities.

Oh, cool. When I lived in Houston (2005-2010), I worked for the Mann Eye Institute and my office was at 5115 Main, just a mile or so up the road.

Man, I miss that town. My wife was just there last weekend, visiting her sister. :(

I'll be over in Houston next week for there huge oil show, I hope it isn't too humid. Last year wasn't too bad, except the night we went to a ballgame and they had the roof open.

It hasn't been horribly bad as of late but I'm born and raised here so my idea of not bad might be hell on earth for you, temperature is starting to slowly rise though

Yep I drive by that place on my way home from work. I think Houston is pretty damn cool in certain aspects but other reasons I hate the place, mostly music related reasons actually.

I love the Rockies. I need to get back up to Cody, Wyo and visit some friends.

Seeing as I am sitting in Carlsbad, CA, I won't speak to you about the weather. You might go postal.
