Aston origin with old m-audio fast track usb

I'm a relative beginner at recordings. A few years ago I was recording vocals at home using a sennheiser e835 microphone going into an m-audio fast track usb audio interface that looks like this:



Now I would like to improve the sound quality of my home recorded vocals and a guy at a music store recommended the Aston Origin mic:



I've heard that the m-audio fast track that I have doesn't support phantom power and condenser mics and I either have to get a new audio interface or some external gadget (preamp?) to make this work. I also worry that the quality of the m-audio fast track usb is so poor that I won't really hear any difference if I go from a dynamic mic (Sennheiser e835) to a condenser (Aston Origin). Is that true?

Any suggestions?
