You Slate guys messed with this yet? Got some weird presets...there's one for guitars called a Leveler.

Does some weird shit to the guitar tracks, think I'll be staying away from that one. 30 second clip, you can hear the guitars dip out a couple times to maintain the level. Sounds weird as fuck to me.

I typically stay away from presets. I haven’t tried this plug yet but I will soon enough I’m sure. It’s good to learn in which contexts these various plugs sound good for. There were some units in the bundle I didn’t think I would ever like using based on early experience that I later discovered sound great under the correct circumstances.

Agreed....I like to give the presets a shot though, just to see what it's doing and see where I can improve it. It sounds decent on drums and bass, don't dig it on guitars though.

Think it'd be better with some cleaner stuff with more dynamics, but for this shit it just got in the way.

Took it off, used it on bass though.

I would only use the Stress on vocals and drums probably.
