Love this guys channel even though it is not in English. Watching him use the Slate bundle to mix metal was pretty insightful.

Do you use the FG-X? Fuck, I tried to use it again last night and failed... I don't know what my issue is with mastering.

Fortunately Fretless has excellent mastering software and has become a solid mastering engineer, which I don't mind cause I'm tired of doing all the work!

But seriously the Slate shit just works. Except the FG-x. :idk:

Well you mixes sound solid so I must be doing something wrong. It's frustrating because mastering is supposed to be simple. :lol:

I can do a so much more now in the mixing phase than ever before, why can't I just turn a bitch up correctly? :facepalm:

When I get home tonight I will go back over what my process is and get back to you. I kind of do the same thing all the time.
