I always thought the chorus was power chords, not single notes... learn something new everyday...

As much as I dig Blackmore, Jon Lord made that song monstrous and in your face....

Hammond through a stack of Marshalls. He would rock the whole organ back and forth and make it howl live. He was an absolute beast. RIP.
