I drink a shit load of water but I like flavor at times. Any recommendations? (besides  booze/beer  ) I tried crystal light and it's ok but it has some shit I can't read in it so it's probably the devil as well.

Sugar is terrible. It really is. Anything with an artificial sweetner is worse too.

I water down OJ for a sweet drink. Only the 100% juice stuff. It's still not great, but it's real.

right on! fuckin' eh...well done, keep at it. Steady as you go.

I just got below 200 for the first time in 20yrs.
I have this old Health-O-Meter scale. You know the one with the sliding weights on a fulcrum. One for 50lbs and one for fractions of a lb.
It's fun to finally move the "50" weight over.

That's a good idea. I'll try it. It will most likely have vodka in it by the end. :idk: :D

Cut lemons and drop them into your glass. Refill until flavor fades away.

Add new lemon wedge.

Repeat.

Yep. It feels damn good.

I was on a raging pull up kick for a while over the Winter. But I went too far and ended up with elbow Tendonitis. Had to lay off anything too loaded and dynamic for a while. So I stuck to core work for the last few months and it's totally paid off. Now my elbow is feeling great and I am just starting to hit some lighter weights again. Just working my way back into it. Probably stay away from the pull ups for a good long while though.

Awesome man! I am sure they will be happy to see the progress!

I hit my 20lb goal for the 6-week challenge that I was on. Weighed in last saturday at 195.8 so I was stoked.

Have been to class every day this week and will be there tomorrow. Trying to do 5 days a week minimum until I get back down to 185 or so. Then just maintain.

Thanks bro!

Great job! I was 195 this morning as well. Pretty freakin stoked. Thats 20lbs for me. I feel great. I can bend over to tie my shoes and not be out of breath from crushing my lungs with my gut.

I still have a ways to go but I think it will require exercise at this point. Maybe? Maybe not? I don't know.

I hit 200 this morning, down from 230 in Feb.

Fuckin stoked and I feel a ton better. I have around 20 lbs to go before I'm at my goal....I'm gonna keep this up for another 4 months and see where I'm at.

Drinking basically nothing but an enormous fuckload of water (seriously, like 2-3 gallons per day) and the occasional beer/tequila shot.

I also haven't cut really anything out of my diet....I still have sugar occasionally, still grab a good burger or good slice of pizza, but the weight keeps coming off. Pretty much love that....there's no way I could have just cut everything out entirely and lived a completely different life right off the bat. Fuck I can't tell you guys how much I hate soda now...daughter had something and I took a swig....all I could taste was sugar and chemicals. Shit was disgusting to me.

Was awesome to see your guys' latest stories. Keep that shit up!

Congrats man! I hear you on the soda thing. I cut out alcohol about 5 years ago and have ZERO taste for it anymore. The smell of hard liquor turns my stomach. I was off soda for about 4+ years as well but it crept back in late last year about the same time I started gaining weight back.

Been 7 weeks now without a sip and I have no desire for it anymore which is good. Been on black coffee, a sh*t ton of water, or BCAA's after working out. That's it.

Awesome! Congrats.

I just moved, and we had to eat takeout for almost a week straight. I won't get on a scale for another week.

It's all good. You have to live life as it comes. We had a baby shower for our niece. It was at a bar. Free beers and a buffet didn't help my weight efforts any.
Had to switch to bourbon over ice and skip the cake.

I'm back to being under 200 again. It took a little over a week.

Well, my Parents were really impressed with how far i have come in such a short time. They were so impressed they want to do the same thing. We stuck to our diet all weekend and no one was hungry. We went on walks 4 times during the weekend. Lots of hills! Lol, they did great. If you have ever been at higher altitudes you know how easy it is to get winded when you are not use to it.

It felt pretty good to motivate someone else.

Whoever said, "eating carbs makes you more hungry" was fuckin' right.

I had a vacation detour in BBQ/seafood country, but I only put on a lb or so since I had diarrhea the whole time.

See, I used to eat high protein/high fat healthy stuff (nuts and shit).........along with carbs that made me hungry.

If I limit the carbs and have nuts, I'm not hungry.

it was a revelation.

Meal selection....this is pretty much my go-to for dinner during the week. Some chicken, bit of alfredo and parmesan, veggies and rice/quinoa...dump some Tobasco Chipotle or sriracha for some flavor. This is awesome....around 400/500 calories, fills you up just enough that you're not hungry for the rest of the evening, decent energy spike and I don't feel the need to eat anything past 6:00 or so pretty much ever. Rest of the night is just tons of water.

That's huge for me.....it was nothing for me to kill a whole bag of Combos or Doritos or whatever watching movies during the evening......then have a Hershey bar or whatever with almonds to counteract the salt lol. The not eating at night is responsible for a huge part of this weight loss for sure.

Well bros, I weighed in at 189.4 this morning. That's a little over 25lbs I have dumped since Easter. I'm so glad I have stuck with this! Hope you are all doing great!
