A local Metallica tribute band "Blisterd Earth" up here that has a pretty good following had thier entire trailer stolen after a show in Portland a week ago

James\Lars heard about this and are replacing the bands entire gear :cry:

Here's the complete list of everything that was stolen from us on Saturday. We really appreciate everyone's feedback and the support from people in Portland has been overwhelming. Proof that you can't judge a city based on a few bad apples.

I saw that yesterday. Good on James and Lars. As much as I love to poke fun at them, this is really a sweet thing they did.

I wonder if they replaced piece per piece - or if they upgraded a few of those items?

edit:
No word on when Metallica is set to replace the gear or what the band's gear is going to presumably be upgraded to, but I bet none of it will be made by Line 6.

Those guys have better tone than the real Metallica now. This is fucking awesome though.

Good on Metallica. The band in the OP are excellent, if the video posted is anything like the rest of their set :rawk:

Seems like Metallica is finally having fun again. Things got militant there for a number of years.
