I like them both. I agree Freak is a weak song, but Monster has some cool tunes... Wall of Sound is awesome.. take Me Down Below is good... I need to listen to it again to remember all the songs, but the album is not bad as a whole. Gene did better than Paul in that album, which is unusual for modern KISS.

Depends on when you ask. I got tired of constantly updating this section lol

Cabs
Marshall 1960A w V30s/ Seismic 2x12 w Redback and V30.

Yeah, Monster is a tough one for me. Very hit or miss. I think Psycho Circus had the same issue for me as well. The good songs were GOOD and the rest were garbagio!

Actually Sonic Boom was decent. Really liked the first 2 tracks IIRC.

I love Sonic Boom! All for the Glory especially. Great song, great vocals and Tommy's best guitar solo to date. All the best of Ace in one solo. If Kiss do another album I hope Eric gets to do vocals on more than one song. I like his take on the Peter Criss style.

I've been on a Revenge kick lately. Love that album.

I dig the newer Ace albums too. I like Space Invader a lot and I really dig Origins. His newer version of Parasite on that album rules.

Actually, no. That Kanji says 'chikara,' which means 'force.' Eric Carr had it on one of his bass drum heads during the 80s.
