Last year I found out about a band called J.A.C.K. They were around many years ago and only put out one album. An unreleased single showed up on a movie this year called White Girl and i heard it on the trailer and had to find out who the band was. I could only find this new unreleased single and the b-side which were both great. I saw evidence that an album existed but not a single site on the internet had it to stream or buy. I finally found a copy on Amazon (i think) and got the phsyical CD delivered to me. I fell in love. It's so raw and just pure rock n' roll to me. The music is fantastic but the singer is what makes it great IMO. His range is crazy and it's just such a raw yet controlled vocal performance on every song. I dunno.... it just really does it from me. Every song on their album is killer. I uploaded the entire album on my YouTube channel since it didn't exist anywhere else.

It was also interesting to find out after contacting the band to see if they had new projects that nobody knows where the singer is anymore or what happened to him.

I was right in guessing that I wouldn't be crazy about it, I like prog rock as it is, and someone having to say it's "done right" probably makes it "done wrong" in my book.

This just strikes me as a much more boring Pain of Salvation. Or a more interesting Radiohead. (At least judging by the first song.)
