+1 They are probably the only band that was and still is great today. A 25 year run.

They have had one or two bad albums, but the last two cds have been great.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had a solid 15 years of hits. That's an impressive run.

and on and on...

That's a good one - there is a great Tom Petty documentary on Netflix - 4 hours - pretty comprehensive.

This man is wise. You could argue that Steven Wilson has been on fire since Stupid Dream in the 90's, since his solo stuff now is amazing.

+2 from his eponymous debut to Into the Great Wide Open, that's 15 years.

Extreme - Pornograffiti to III Sides is a 3 year run. Everything after was shit.

I wasn't a big David Bowie fan while he was alive. Since his death I have been listening to him a lot. I really respect the way he went out, with his music to say goodbye.

David Bowie (1969) to Earthling is a 28 year run.

Rush. I mean you could presumably go up to Test for Echo in 1996 to say that album wasn't that great, that's 24 years

Rush has phases that are different but equally great and every one has gone for 6+.

And whoever said RHCP is smoking something. They haven't gone 1 year in a row.
