Amplitube l/IK Multimedia 20th Anni BOGO Sale

Post by Steinmetzify »

Just FYI...I grabbed Amplitube Mesa Boogie and they hit me with the fact that they're doing a 'buy one get one free' sale until 8/31. I grabbed the Orange pack too, cause you know...free. :rawk:

I've been kinda tempted by getting the Precision Comp/Limiter plug and the Stealth Limiter, but a little voice in my head is pointing out that I've already got a bunch of comps and probably don't need to spend 149 eu (equivalent to £8,000,000,000,000 at post-brexit exchange rates) for another.

Grab the Orange for sure and take the rest in credits? The Orange is just as good as the Mesa stuff...

I've been reading up a lot about Amplitube 4 and listening to tons of clips. Your Boogieclips with Amplitube 4 are great btw Steiny!
So great that I caved in and bought AT4 yesterday and got the Mesa Pack for free (BOGO), sweet deal now for someone who might consider buying Amplitube 4, valid until August 31.

I switched from a Yamaha THR to AT4 and active monitors and got myself a cheapo Scarlett Focusrite Solo interface and I like this setup much better than the Yamaha THR.
Only recorded a few clips so far and have only scratched the surface, but my clips sound much more natural and amplike with AT 4 compared to recording the THR through USB...
I paid about $400 in total for the whole "rig" (interface/monitors/AT 4 + Boogie pack) and I feel that's great value for the money - AT 4 is damn impressive!

Was extremely disappointed at first, but discovered that I had the switch on the Focusrite stuck between "Line" and "Instrument" and "Direct monitoring" was on and the audio settings in Amplitube were a bit off, I was basically hearing a clean signal mixed with all the AT-sounds coming from a "stuck in between" line and instrument setting on the actual interface, lol.

Anyways, enough ranting - just want to chime in and bump the thread if more people are considering getting something from IK - now is the time with this BOGO-deal :rawk:

I'm a sucker for these IK sales, ended up acquiring most of the AmpliTube Bundles as well as most of the T-RackS plug-ins through various group buys and promotions.
Latest was buying their iRig Pro interface to get the upgrade to AmpliTube 4 Deluxe bundled free. Love having the iRig Pro connected to my surfing laptop for casual headphone practice. Now have AT4 Deluxe, Fender, Orange, MESA/Boogie, Ampeg SVX, Slash, Metal, Jimi Hendrix Anniversary plus the individual THD, GK & Soldano models. Only things I might add now are other individual models so I just used the BOGO sale to pick-up a 75 gear credit pack to get an additional 75.
The newest T-RackS plug-ins are excellent, highly recommend the Stealth Limiter and Master EQ 432 for finished mixes if you haven't tried them.

Just wanted to mention you can BOGO the Credits.

Also, I recently upgraded JUST before the July bogo to the Amplitube Max package. They included me in the bogo so I didn't have to beg. Even though I don't have any tRacks, the tRacks max upgrade was listed as available to me. I got it, and she authorized no prob! This makes me very happy as I ended up buying almost half of the Amplitube stuff just before the max pack came out :-( They have enough of my money.

Head's up, the Stealth Limiter is on sale through Monday for $50/credits. They're trying to stuff a ballot box for some 'best of 2017' poll so running a sale on their nominee...

Mesa Series is good stuff. Most authentic modeled Mesa's I have ever used. FAS, KPA not even close.

Agreed. I actually liked the Triaxis model in the Axe but I like this stuff better.
