Preferably something free or inexpensive. I have some live recordings that have lot of crackling that i thought with right plugin might clean up some. Any suggestions?
I found roni music de-crackler which demo seemed to work decently on few recording tested on but demo version enters in beeps. Full version is no longer for sale per response i got.

Reaper comes with JS Noise Attenuation and JS Noise Filter. I've never used them so no idea how efficient they are. If you don't use Reaper you can download all the plugs for free from their site.
