I am addicted to TV dinners

I have to say there is no better TV dinner than Marie Calendar's slow roasted beef.

If Trader Joe's exists where you live, their frozen dinners are stellar. Their boeuf bourguignon, pesto chicken, and all of their burritos are outstanding, and they're actually a decent meal's worth of food.

I think what I feed yogi is better

This morbidly obese lady at work eats 2 per day.

Super high sodium, go Amurica!

So would I, and I'm fortunate to live with a really good cook. But it's great to have some backups in the freezer...

hahaha. I hear you.... I do go in to lazy mode sometimes, to get around that I try and do stuff and I freeze and eat later like bolognese etc.... all you have to do is boil pasta... some nights I've even been so lazy i'd just warm up the bolognese and eat it like chilli with some pita bread...

Bolognese on toast, because I'm either out of pasta or too lazy to boil water, is definitely a thing in my house as well...

I would commit suicide if I were addicted to TV dinners. Then again, that might be a little redundant.

Ugh, no thanks. For me, eating bum food is frozen pizza or Stouffer's chipped beef gravy. (Which I LOVE)

But usually, if it's coming from my kitchen, I want to have as much control over it as possible.

The Marie Callender's stuff is all really yummy for what it is, but it has so much goddamn sodium that I can't get my shoes or wedding ring off for 12 hours after I eat it.

Not gonna lie, I had a thing for those back at my pinnacle of fatness. Pot pie + massive handful of cheese (because every food needs cheese when you're fat) was dinner a few times per week.

Just did the math: Pot pie = 820 calories and a handful/cup of cheese = ~ 450 calories. 1,275 calories for dinner. :freak:

Well that's not bad if it's ALL you eat during the day. Like during busy season, dude, it fkn sucks. I've gained 11lbs since January, but I always know it's coming and I just go insane w/ a diet and exercise the few months after and get to my more "regular" weight (which is still too much but whatevs). Leaving the house at 6:30, getting home at 8, maybe 9, and there's so much to do taking even a 30 min lunch break is out of the question most days, so yeah. Pot pies are very comforting after days like that even though they're so bad for you.

Unfortunately, that was never all I ate in a day.

So glad I took the lazy way out and went with finance instead of accounting. I'm really happy with that decision now because I have a lot of flexibility in my scheduling which allows me to go back to school so that I can get out of finance.
