Made some IR's

Post by maggotspawn »

Made a couple of impulse responses of my 412MS. Followed the instructions at: http://www.guitarampmodeling.com/viewtopic.php?t=1745
Took all of 10 minutes. Loaded them into the GSP 1101. They sound very good when compared to the IR's of the OS Mesa cab I have. I used an SM 57 and an AT 2020. You need some way to reamp when you do it. My girlfriend about $h!t when she heard the sine wave play back through the power amp of my JSX. Lol.

Dude, if you haven't already done so; you are entering the rabbit hole  My favorite IRs have been the Fremen 2x12 stuff he packages with his presets. There are a ton of others out there that seriously rock as well :rawk: I'll give the Sheffields a go with my AX when it gets here. Just to give the Fractal that luscious taste of poverty  :fap:

I'm pretty much set with God's Cab and now the ones I made. I used to go nuts going through different ones though.

I've got a folder of God's Cabs and I wonder if they are the same? I'll have to do some checking.

Thanks for posting the 4x12 MS IRs. As a Peavey guy I gotta check em out!
