Motor Head and Sabbath are both metal

Sabbath was the original British Heavy Metal band.

I'll wait - just google British Heavy Metal - click the first link - and see what you read..........

This rocks just as hard as Dokken or the Scorpions. I dare you to sit through the entirety of the Scorpions Send Me An Angel and Wind of Change back-to-back.

There's your problem - you are using women's asses to judge your hard rock.

...Ok class, in this next exhibit we have the middle-aged hair metal sect of 80s men. Notice them arguing over which band is superior to establish who is the manliest male, keeping in mind that all of these bands had teased hair, spandex and a lot of makeup.

Ya know, I wont say that... Bon Weenie is definitely crotch rock tunes to attract chicks, and while I would in no way go so far as to call it hard rock. Ill fess, I saw em once... I was given tix, then forced at gunpoint & threat of ass-rape, & I aint proud.

But they write attractive music. ...to chicks/

I really don't take Bon Jovi seriously. As in, I think it's really bad music. Those keyboards sound like shit.
That said, I do enjoy some assrock. Shout at the Devil, Metal Health.... to name a couple. I really dig Carlos Cavaso's tone and playing on that record. SG through a Jose Plexi I believe (?).

I'm not that big of a fan . I'll take Zep all day any day but the first 2 VH albums are rock mixing 101 it's how to do it if you want to know listen to those and take notes .

A little back story for me, no big deal, just funny who got me into em.
Id heard a couple songs when their 1st album came out in 78, & I thought they sounded odd. I couldnt really get into it. It wasnt the direct approach hard rock that Aerosmith & Zep were.

Then I had a girlfriend that was pretty into them, & we listened to the whole album... Well, when I 1st heard Eruption, my jaw hit the floor & I was hooked! Then I listened to the rest of it all with a little more of an open ear & got totally into em.

So THANKS Nancie!!

bon jovi are a fantastic rock band. They wrote some of the greatest 80's anthems ever recorded you dont do that by accident. Jon has a great voice and richie played some very decent guitar and some of his solos are all time great spots, ie wanted dead or alive. dude never really overplayed thats what I absolutely loved about that band. I can listen to their music now 30 years later without the shame because im not picturing them in guyliner and snake skin pants with stupid goofy furry boots. Even some of their later stuff was really good, the song its my life is just a great great song no matter what era or who composed it.

Scorpions>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Bon Jovi. Winds of Change and Tease me Please Me suck but Klaus Meine is so far beyond Bon Jovi on the awesome spectrum it's not even funny. Sambora had some solid solos but in comparison to Jabs or Schenker? No. Way.

This too. Of course, I'm married; so wtf do I know

...other than the fact that I would have missed out on a ton of killer music back in the day if this affected my music selection :D
