Killer medley done flawlessly. That theremin (if that's what it is and he's truly controlling it) in the middle is

I don't know why...but he lacks mojo IMO. I can watch grainy videos of Band of Gypsys all day long, but I can't watch a well-produced Bonomassa concert for more than a couple minutes. Great player, love watching him demo his sick amps and guitars and shit, but I doubt I'd ever go see him play.

The best thing about this thread is finding out Paul Rogers is still bringing his game. Great voice, brings back a lot of memories.
Bonamassa is a guitar talent, his technique (and lifted technique) to be examined and studied. That said, I am not excite.

I know what you're saying about the lack of mojo. IMO he always seems to make the groove a little flat for some reason. Here he is rippin with EJ. Person with the camera is right in front of Joe B so he's much louder than EJ but you get the point. Bonamassa and EJ fucking destroy crossroads. Another thing that's kinda cool to see is that EJ's drummer in this video is like 18 and they have to show him how steppin out goes and he misses the stops on crossroads. Kid can play though

Definitely the kind of stuff Rodgers should be singing over. He's not my cup of Joe (
) as far as singers go but dude has some pipes for the bluesy stuff. Never got why they wanted him in Queen

That strat tone is
I dig JB in Black Country's first album. Pretty straightforward update on the classic rock formula with just the right amount of catchiness.

I like him much better when he was fat, drug addicted, and just ripping it live with his trio. His Rockpalast show was amazing.

That whole Rockpalast show is amazing. It's on youtube as a playlist, and well worth a listen.
