Gov't Mule and Blackberry Smoke tonight!

Post by clipless bumper »

Heading out from work now to take the subway down to Penn's Landing to see Blackberry Smoke and Gov't Mule.

3rd or 4th time for the Mule - first time for BBSmoke.
Will try to report back with gear reports - and will keep an eye open for Nobody tele's.

If anyone else happens to be going - post up and we'll meet up!

one more crappy pic - encore was Gov't Mule w/Charlie Starr - and something you don't see very often - Warren playing a V.
They played Rod Stewart - Stay With Me

He also played a black non-reverse Firebird for a couple songs before this - but stuck to his LP's the rest of the night.

WITHOUT pickguards, I'll add...............

Warren has a couple of non-reverse Firebirds I think. The one I saw him play might have been Inverness Green originally. It was ugly as hell and sounded amazing.

I love the jumble of backline BBS and Mule use. Not so much as stacks, but more of a heap. Like someone shook out a barn over the stage during load-in.

This nr Firebird was solid black/white guard. Non reverse headstock with (I think) regular tuners, not banjo tuners.
