Kind of interesting they put Baphomet as the cover. And the name of the album is Transcendental. Origin of the image is Eliphas Levi's book Transcendental Magic, where it signifies the god Pan. (And no, it's not the devil).

Interesting. Definitely something that will require a few listens for me and I'm usually all in with Dev from the get go.

I like it, it's a little different than the last few albums in a good way

I'm not usually able to get into Devin Townsend, at least not for more than 10 minutes and sometimes less. There are aspects that are  but it's been tricky for me to get on board.

But I'm down with this. It almost has MUSE like arrangement in parts, a little more mainstream... a little more measured. Would listen in the car with my kids.

:thu: Sounds fucking great. :rawk:

I think you'd enjoy Sky Blue in that case.

Same here. Got really into the big walls of guitars and synths from AE and Ocean Machine, Synchestra and Ki.

This seems more straight forward as far as terms of production and especially guitars are concerned. I kind of miss the old stuff after 3 times thru...

Modest, you need to check Devy live. it's fucking awesome!!
I like this. I felt like Z2 was kind of a letdown, and was not interested in another epicloud/sky blue. This track has me a little excited though

Ocean Machine would be a good choice as well.

Really digging this one!! I've always been a huge DT fan, especially back in the day. However his most recent few releases I've really needed to be in the mood to listen to. This ones grabbing me right away though
