Yeah, Opeth is one of those bands where I can honestly say, even though some albums were better than others, there isn't anything from them I do NOT enjoy.
Got into them on the Still Life album and been a fan since.
Ive been trying so hard to get into Heritage and PC. THere are three tracks on Heritage I love but the middle of that album is just absolute rubbish. PC has some fantastic moments but Mikael loves to just drone out on this unfocused stuff that I just find terribly boring. At first I didnt really care for this track either way, but after many listens I can say that yes I love the track now. I do miss their riffage and unique approach to metal but this new direction could finally be paying off on this third album. I love opeth, Mikael is one of those once in a generation musicians and the band is amazing of course.
