New Scarlette Interfaces

Post by bdubbs »

Gen 2 scarlette interfaces look to be out. For the 2i2 the improvement seems to be with the high output pickups overloading the pre-amp.

Pretty cool, looks like 9 more dB of headroom; giving it about as much as the Audient iD22 IIRC. Supposedly lower latency with the new drivers too and the ability to record at higher sample rates than the first generation. Looks like a pretty good buy for the price and I can finally stop chiming in about the Hi-Z input every time somebody recommends it. :cop:
